Isle of Wight Tourism's Press & PR Department's overall purpose is to raise awareness and improve perception of the Isle of Wight as one of the UK's leading holiday destinations through proactive communications management.
Ensuring that our key messages and images are incorporated into positive media coverage and developing awareness at a local level of the importance of tourism to the Island.

We aim to raise the Island's profile in a wide range of press and secure positive media coverage. This is achievable by the following services we offer and communication we participate in: press visits, ensuring information is easily available to the media including press releases, editorial and pictures. From September through to March, Isle of Wight Tourism exhibits across the UK and overseas and produces an exhibition newspaper with all the latest news, views and competitions.
